Hi! I'm Nadia, a working actor, filmmaker, and coach based in Los Angeles. I love helping students build confidence through practical skills, whether that means preparing for an audition, learning Final Cut Pro, developing a screenplay, or growing as a performer.

I currently work at a busy self-tape studio in Hollywood, where I spend my days coaching actors through auditions, reading scenes, directing performances, editing self tapes in Final Cut Pro, and helping performers submit work they feel proud of. Working with actors every day has given me a deep understanding of the audition process, storytelling, and the technical side of creating professional self tapes.

Outside the studio, I'm an independent filmmaker and the co-writer and producer of the proof-of-concept short film Crystal Visions. My work has given me experience across every stage of filmmaking- from writing and producing to editing, performance, and navigating the independent film festival circuit. Because I work both in front of and behind the camera, I enjoy helping students understand not just the technical skills, but the creative thinking that brings great work to life.

My background also includes eight years as a certified personal trainer and group fitness coach, where I discovered another passion: helping people develop confidence through patient, encouraging instruction. Whether I'm coaching an actor, teaching editing, or helping someone learn a new skill, my approach is the same. I believe people learn best when they feel supported, challenged, and genuinely excited to improve.

I know what it's like to be a beginner, to feel overwhelmed, and to wonder whether you're "good enough." My goal is to create a welcoming environment where questions are encouraged, progress is celebrated, and every lesson leaves you feeling more capable than when you arrived.

I'd love to help you reach your goals. Feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to working with you!

Acting

Acting

I bring both professional acting experience and daily audition coaching to my teaching. I currently work at a busy self-tape studio in Hollywood, where I coach actors through every stage of the audition process—including script analysis, scene work, reader interaction, on-camera performance, framing, and creating polished self tapes. Working with actors every day has given me a deep understanding of what casting directors respond to and the practical skills that help performers deliver their best work. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre and continue to study with Chris Fields, a longtime Stella Adler student, because I believe great actors never stop training. My own work includes principal roles in television, film, commercials, and theater. I've appeared in national commercials alongside LeBron James and Will Ferrell, as well as an international commercial directed by an Academy Award-winning filmmaker. My foundation is rooted in classical theatre, but I've spent the past eight years building a career in Los Angeles and understand the realities of today's audition process. Whether you're preparing your very first self tape, working on a monologue, or refining your on-camera technique, my goal is to help you feel confident, specific, and authentically connected to your work. I specialize in Self Tape Coaching, Audition Coaching, On-Camera Acting, and Final Cut Pro for Beginners. If you feel lost or overwhelmed in your creative journey— take a breath, and we'll take care of it.
Film

Film

I am an independent filmmaker with hands-on experience in acting, screenwriting, producing, editing, and navigating the film festival circuit. I currently work at a busy self-tape studio in Hollywood, where I edit projects daily using Final Cut Pro and help actors create polished, professional self tapes. Through this work, I've developed an efficient editing workflow and enjoy helping beginners learn Final Cut Pro with confidence. As the co-writer and producer of the proof-of-concept short film Crystal Visions, I've experienced every stage of independent filmmaking—from development and production through post-production and festival submissions. My background as a working actor also gives me a unique perspective on performance, storytelling, and collaborating across departments. Beyond editing, I'm passionate about helping aspiring filmmakers understand how all the pieces fit together. Whether you're opening Final Cut Pro for the first time, editing your own short film, or looking for guidance on screenwriting, producing, or the filmmaking process, my goal is to make learning approachable, practical, and encouraging.
