I also held a work-study position at BruinCorps, a program dedicated to tutoring low-income students. In that role, I worked with learners who often faced limited resources and high levels of math anxiety. I learned how to break down complex problems into manageable steps, use real-life examples to make math more relatable, and provide consistent encouragement to help students believe in their own abilities.
