As a prospective tutor and mentor with a diverse educational background, I am passionate about helping students excel in math and science. My journey began in high school, serving as a teacher’s proxy, conducting "doubt" sessions for classmates. My academic achievements include a 4.0 GPA at California Lutheran University (CLU), a 720 SAT Math score, and top marks in MSBSHSE HSC and CBSE AISSE exams.
Currently, I tutor at CLU’s Math Center, assisting students up to Calculus 2 since January 2023. I also create mini-modules for other tutors. As a Physics Department Assistant (Sep 2023-May 2024), I tutor various physics courses and aid departmental duties. These roles have honed my ability to personalize sessions, fostering a supportive learning environment.
In June 2024, I will tutor high school students as a CLU Upward Bound Tutor Mentor, personalizing study plans and motivating them. My research fellowship in high-energy physics, supported by the Swenson Science Fellowship, involved advanced data analysis and presentations, refining both my technical and communication skills. With a 4.0 GPA and extensive coursework in physics and math, I am well-equipped to provide high-quality, adaptive tutoring.
