I am a Political Science major at UC Riverside with a strong background in reading, writing, and critical analysis. In high school, I completed AP Literature, which strengthened my ability to interpret complex texts and write clearly under academic pressure. I’ve also been writing poetry for several years, which helps me connect with students who need support in creative writing, expressive language, and finding their own writing voice. Throughout school and college, classmates often turned to me for help organizing essays, improving clarity, and understanding class readings, and those experiences encouraged me to begin tutoring more formally.

My tutoring approach is patient, encouraging, and highly individualized. I focus on meeting students where they are whether they’re struggling to understand a reading, structure an essay, or express ideas clearly. I break down assignments into manageable steps, offer examples, and help students develop strategies they can use long after the session ends. I believe anyone can become a strong writer with the right guidance and the chance to build confidence one step at a time.

I’ve worked with students from middle school through college on essay writing, reading comprehension, study skills, and creative writing. Whether someone needs help preparing for a class discussion, revising an essay, or exploring their own creative writing style, I aim to make the process less stressful and more meaningful. My goal is always to help students understand the material deeply while improving their overall communication skills.
