Hello, I'm Diya. I received my undergraduate degree from UCLA, studying chemical engineering. Throughout middle and high school I have had my fair share of difficulty in certain classes and I have always been grateful to be able to receive extra tutelage that helped me overcome my own struggles. I want to continue this effort and give back as tutor to other students who are facing a similar situation.

Supportive Tutor
Diya was my first tutor so I was very apprehensive of what would happen during classes. She quickly put me at ease and started going over concepts/practice problems/homework I was struggling with. I was very scared about Honors Chem as I didn't understand most of the material that we had previously learned but I was soon able to get higher grades and more confidence in many Chem topics. It was a great experience, I highly recommend Diya!

I’m extremely pleased to have Diya as my tutor and over the last 3 years, Diya has been someone I can count on for help in multiple subjects at both Pre-AP and regular level courses. She has helped me immensely in Algebra, Geometry and Chemistry and has had a valuable part in my academic performance. Diya is flexible to your desired schedule and always there when you need her. She has always been able to connect with me and tailor the session to my exact needs. She ensures I understand the material conceptually and always follows up post session with our discussion notes for my review. Another standout aspect that really helped me was her ability to send me practice tests when needed. Diya is also very responsive and supportive. There was a time when I needed her very badly for an upcoming major grade exam as I didn’t understand the topic and was very nervous. Despite being sick, she came on for the lesson to help me prepare for my test and regain my confidence. Diya always ensures I’m well prepared for every exam and this attests to her level of caring and attentiveness.
