I bring nearly three decades of analytical experience to the table, including 23 years as a Computer Engineer at Microsoft. With an undergraduate degree from NITT, India, and a Master’s from Santa Clara University, I understand exactly how foundational mathematics serves as the backbone for a successful career in STEM. I don't just teach students how to solve an equation; I teach them how to think like problem-solvers.

While my professional background is in engineering, my passion is in the classroom. I have spent years guiding my own children through the rigors of elementary, middle, and high school math, including specialized SAT and SAT-Math preparation. Beyond my own family, I have:
* Home-schooled Pre-Algebra and Algebra for two years.
* Taught middle school Algebra through the non-profit We Teach Science.
* Volunteered as a Teacher’s Assistant for AP Computer Science at the local high school level.

My Methodology is The "Fundamentals First" Approach.
I believe that confidence in math comes from a rock-solid understanding of the basics. My teaching method focuses on:
* Establishing Fundamentals: bridge the gaps in prior knowledge before moving forward.
* Reinforcement Learning: I use targeted worksheets and repetitive practice to ensure concepts move from short-term memory to long-term mastery.
* Exam Readiness: Whether it is a weekly quiz or the finals, I ensure students are prepared well in advance to reduce test anxiety.

Seeing a student finally have that "lightbulb moment" and succeed in their schoolwork is the most rewarding part of what I do. I am here to help your student not just survive math class, but thrive in it.
