In our sessions, my goal is for you to feel confident, not just “get through” the homework. I like to break problems down step-by-step, ask you to explain your thinking out loud, and then fill in any gaps together. We can review class notes, work through your homework or practice problems, and create quick summaries/formulas you can refer back to before quizzes and exams. As someone who has recently navigated high-pressure academic environments, I know how stressful it is to feel lost before a test, so I keep the environment encouraging and low pressure. You can ask the same question as many times as you need, as my job is to make sure the concept clicks.
