I emphasize building strong SQL skills as a foundation for a successful career in data science.
One of the SQL assignments I designed involves students creating a PostgreSQL container, configuring schemas, and writing complex queries—a practical exercise that builds confidence and industry-relevant skills. I have taught 32 students in my first cohort and 67 in my second, with experience teaching in person, online, and asynchronously.
