I received my BS in Mathematics and a BS in Physics from the University of La Verne in 2015.

Afterward, I tutored for 2 1/2 years in the subject areas of Algebra, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus with students at a tutoring center for students who were between 6-12 grade .

I received my MA in education and my teaching credential in Science (Physics) in 2018 and have been teaching algebra based Physics at the High School level for the past 3 years and I am about to start my 4th year of teaching.

I prefer my tutoring students to be prepared for the session with the set of problems/questions they must answer, their notes from class, and paper/pencil for myself & the student.

I do not do “just before test” tutoring with new students unless we have done few to several sessions previously or unless the student is specific and aware of what must be studied.

Approved Subjects

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

Algebra 1 is needed as a basic building block for all upper level mathematics that I have taken, so I have been working with Algebra 1 for several years.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

For the past year at a Learning Center more than several students have been bringing Algebra 2 to me to help them with their homework. In High School I skipped Algebra 2 to get to higher level mathematics classes.
Calculus

Calculus

When in High School I was in two Advanced Placement courses (AP) for Calculus, namely, Calculus AB and Calculus BC. The scores I ended up with on each AP test was 5 for each. I know Calculus well.
Physics

Physics

Physics is the second subject in college I majored in. I know Newtonian physics and kinematics very well.
Precalculus

Precalculus

For the past six months I have been tutoring a student who has been bringing in PreCalculus. She tells me she has been doing well in the course when she brings it in to me, in case there is something she did not understand on her own.
Geometry
Prealgebra

Great session!

Daniel was very knowledgeable and my son felt comfortable asking questions. This was our first session and we look forward to working with him in the near future.
