I graduated first-class honours with a Bachelor's Degree in history, and I am currently a graduate history student at the University of Cambridge. I specialize in the humanities and social sciences; I am particularly comfortable with helping students studying U.S. history, U.S. government and politics, modern World history, and European history. I can also help high school and undergraduate students improve with general soft skills in the humanities and social sciences such as academic writing, constructing arguments, structuring essays, analysing primary and secondary sources, and organizing independent study. I also have recent and thorough experience with the Advanced Placement (AP) tests and classes as I took 10 of them in high school, including AP U.S. Government and politics, AP World History, and AP U.S. history. I got 4's and 5's on the three aforementioned exams.
I have two years of experience tutoring my fellow undergraduate students struggling with their essays in their humanities and and social science classes. I worked direcly with them every week, helping them with essay and paragraph structure, crafting topic sentences, the sources and material, constructing more cogent arguments, and proofreading their papers for grammar and syntax errors.
