My passion for Chemistry is what drives me to help my students succeed. I have been tutoring / teaching for over 20 years. I have taught students from all walks of life including High School students, College students, University students, Pharmacy students, Nursing students, students preparing for the MCAT, and even AP Chemistry instructors in preparation for teaching their course at their High School. I love sharing that "Aha!" moment with my students when I see that sparkle in their eyes when they have finally understood and grasped a concept or when they are finally able to balance an equation properly and solve a stoichiometry problem that had them stumped prior to my help.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from UCLA, however, my passion for Chemistry was born long before that. I had my first Chemistry set when I was 5 year old.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
