I have over five years of professional tutoring experience and have worked with students across a range of ages. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and am currently preparing for law school, which has given me a strong foundation in analytical reading, structured argumentation, and clear written expression. In addition to formal tutoring, I’ve spent many years mentoring individuals around communication, self-expression, and personal development. I previously operated my own tutoring company and have helped students with brainstorming, organization, revision in addition to storytelling.

I’m a Children’s Advocate for literacy in grammar and vocabulary. I aide K-6 students in test prep, learning strategies and common core framework. Tutoring elementary students has been one of the most rewarding duties of my adult life. The bulk of my experience is in 2nd to 4th grade. But I also minored in child development in college and have a special connection to gentle, inquisitive minds. I am an Early Childhood Certified Associate Teacher providing MAP Testing (Reading, Math, Writing) Prep; Individual Support Specialty; and Confidence Training I am patient and conscientious of their needs and understand the importance of nurturing their self-esteem and learning confidence. I am very patient and give my students my undivided, caring attention during our lessons. I employ strategies that help students improve their engagement in their homework and the classroom as well as increase their scores and independent learning.
