I am a third-year medical student with a strong academic foundation in the sciences and extensive experience tutoring and teaching at the college and pre-medical level. I graduated with a 3.95 GPA and have served as both a tutor and teaching assistant in multiple institutions. At Edmonds College, I tutored calculus, physics, and general chemistry, helping students build both conceptual understanding and problem-solving confidence. At Central Washington University, I served as a teaching assistant in organic chemistry, biochemistry, and cell biology, working closely with students in small-group and one-on-one settings to clarify complex topics and reinforce core principles.

In addition to my formal TA role, I have tutored biochemistry, organic chemistry, and general chemistry for students with diverse learning styles and academic goals. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex concepts, identifying knowledge gaps, and helping students think critically rather than memorize unquestioningly. I emphasize pattern recognition, logical reasoning, and real-world application so that students not only perform better on exams, but also develop long-term mastery of the material. As a medical student, I continue to use these same strategies daily in my own studies, which allows me to teach from both experience and current academic relevance.

I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether you are preparing for exams, strengthening your foundation, or aiming for top academic performance, I tailor each session to your specific goals and learning style. My objective is not only to help you succeed academically, but to help you gain confidence in your ability to understand and apply challenging scientific concepts.

USMLE

I am a third-year medical student currently preparing for Step 2 CK. With strong personal experience in USMLE-style question strategy and clinical integration, I passed Step 1 on my first attempt. I use my background in Step 1 preparation and ongoing Step 2 CK training to help students approach questions logically, recognize patterns, and avoid common test traps. My tutoring focuses on building clinical reasoning, improving question interpretation, and strengthening weak systems using board-style thinking rather than memorization alone. I tailor sessions to each student’s level, whether they are beginning Step 1 preparation or refining Step 2 CK performance.
