Experienced tutor in Computer Science and College Level Math

I have had the privilege to take many courses ranging in high levels mathematics like Calculus 1,2,3 , Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Discrete Math. Additionally as a Computer Engineering student I have taken various courses in programming languages ranging from C++, Python, and Java and Hardware construction along with the physics of this field of engineering. During my time in college so far, I have been hired as a tutor for the college in the MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement) center where I have tutored for the past 2 years and met various students ranging in various backgrounds and various ages. From high school students to middle aged adults I have a great amount of experience in tutoring various different age groups and people. With this tutoring job I tutored both in person, online and in big groups as I was in charge of a Academic Excellence Workshop for Calculus where large groups of students gathered and I can answer their questions from Calculus 1,2 or 3. As far as how I go about tutoring I try to slowly guide them to the solution by asking questions on what they think would be the right approach to a certain problem. This is to see where their thought process is at and if any mistakes arise I can see where it came from whether in be their thought process or a simple calculation error, this way the student can tweak the little bolts that are lose so that the problem can be solved in one simple flow, allowing them to gain confidence and satisfaction that they are improving and understanding concepts no matter how difficult is may seem at first.
