As a passionate educator with a strong foundation in international studies and English, I bring both cultural insight and literary expertise to my tutoring sessions. My academic journey at Pepperdine University, where I graduated with honors, combined a major in International Studies and minors in English and Nonprofit Management. A semester abroad in Madrid further enriched my understanding of diverse perspectives, which I incorporate into my dynamic, student-centered teaching approach.

Professionally, I have honed my skills in writing, editing, and communication through roles such as a research assistant for a cross-cultural education project and as a media and communication intern for Humans for Education. These experiences taught me how to analyze and refine complex ideas while crafting engaging, impactful narratives. Additionally, my time mentoring at Camp HOPE for Kids, where I worked with at-risk youth, instilled in me the importance of patience, adaptability, and encouragement when helping students from diverse backgrounds succeed.

My tutoring approach focuses on fostering collaboration and growth. I aim to create a safe and engaging space where students can confidently express their ideas and refine their writing skills. Whether we’re analyzing literature, crafting persuasive essays, or mastering grammar and sentence structure, my goal is to inspire curiosity and help students build a strong command of the English language. I look forward to partnering with families to help students achieve their full potential while nurturing a lifelong love for learning.
