I’m a student-centered tutor with a background in writing and global studies. I graduated with honors from Pepperdine University, where I studied International Studies and minored in English. I’m currently pursuing an M.A. in Global Risk at Johns Hopkins University.
I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and have lived in Mexico for the past two years, in addition to studying abroad in Madrid. These cross-cultural experiences shape how I support students, especially bilingual learners, in building confidence and clarity in their writing.
My tutoring style is encouraging, collaborative, and practical. I focus on helping students strengthen their writing, grammar, and critical thinking in a supportive space where they feel comfortable asking questions and expressing ideas. Whether we’re working on essays, literature, or academic writing, my goal is to help students find their voice and grow with confidence.
