As a tutor, I work with preschool and elementary-aged homeschool students, general education students needing extra reading support, and students with learning disabilities such as Dyslexia and ADHD. I tailor lessons to each student's unique and individual learning needs. Each 1 hour reading lesson includes 1) phonemic awareness development, 2) explicit, structured phonics instruction, 3) decoding and fluency practice, and 4) spelling practice. For older elementary-aged students, I include reading comprehension and vocabulary development as well.
I am passionate about helping students read so that they can thrive in school. Please send me a message with your child's age, grade level, and current reading level. I am excited to work with you and your child!
