Hi! My name is Salma, and I’m a graduating senior at Stanford University with a B.S. in Physics. This fall, I’ll be starting my PhD in Applied Physics at Harvard. I’ve spent the past several years tutoring students across a wide range of ages—from elementary school to college undergrads—in math, physics, and computer science.

I can support students in all levels of math through multivariable calculus and linear algebra, including algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, and differential equations. I also tutor physics at the high school and college level, from mechanics and electromagnetism to quantum and thermal physics. In computer science, I can help with introductory to intermediate topics including programming, algorithms, and logic. I can also help with ACT/SAT preparation, college, and even graduate school applications.

I have experience tutoring in one-on-one settings as well as group sessions. I’m committed to helping students understand the why behind the material, not just the steps to get through a problem. I tailor my approach to each student’s learning style, helping them build clarity, confidence, and independent problem-solving skills.

I also scored a 35 on the ACT and offer focused test prep support—especially for the Math and Science sections—with smart strategies for improving accuracy and timing. I’d be happy to help with studying, homework review, test preparation, or general subject support.
