I have a year of experience working alongside middle and high school students as a teaching assistant for Intro to Computer Science courses at my school. As a teaching assistant, I worked in both one-on-one and whole-class settings to guide students of varying levels through the Python and Processing curriculum which I helped to design. I also served as a technical mentor for my school's robotics team to help train new members in Java and continue to mentor interested students starting their CS journey.
I've always enjoyed tackling problems creatively and systematically, and my passion for computer science (CS) and math is a natural extension of this nature. I am proficient in Python, R, C++, C, Java, and Go. At Stanford, I have taken numerous core CS and artificial intelligence (AI) classes and currently have a 4.0 GPA in these and generally. Furthermore, I am currently doing AI theory and architecture research in the Stanford AI Lab. I have also done cutting-edge computational statistics and GIS research at the Stanford Sustainability and AI Lab and have worked in data science at a leading machine learning (ML) platform provider in Silicon Valley, specializing in computer vision tasks. I also have experience with backend software development through work experience and personal projects.
Following an initial assessment and discussion, I will work to create a project-based curriculum tailored to your specific needs. I welcome any questions and feedback during lessons and integrate student feedback into creating a more personalized tutoring experience, especially in AI, machine learning, and GIS.
