I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Stanford University. I am a two-time International Chemistry Olympiad Silver Medalist, having competed in the 55th and 56th IChO, as well as an International Junior Science Olympiad Silver Medalist. This background has given me advanced training in general, organic, inorganic, physical, and competition-level chemistry.
I have more than three years of experience tutoring and coaching high school and undergraduate students, with over 300 hours of teaching experience in both one-on-one and small-group settings. I tailor each lesson to the student’s level and goals by identifying gaps in understanding, explaining difficult concepts step by step, and providing targeted practice problems.
I emphasize conceptual understanding and problem-solving strategies rather than memorization, while also helping students prepare efficiently for exams and competitions. My students have achieved strong results in both academic courses and chemistry competitions. Several of my current and former students have earned medals at the International Chemistry Olympiad, and students I have tutored in the Bay Area have earned A and A+ grades in undergraduate organic chemistry. These experiences have prepared me to support students ranging from those building a foundation in chemistry to those preparing for advanced university courses or international-level competitions :)
