Hi! My name is Henry, and I recently graduated summa cum laude with a double major in mechanical engineering and computer science from Yale University. I'm now going on to complete a master's degree in aerospace engineering at Stanford, but I'm hoping to spend some time pursuing my love of teaching as well!
In terms of experience, I have been tutoring for over 8 years now, in subjects ranging from 7th grade math to collegiate computer graphics, and I have always loved the experience of...

I would like to thank Henry for being my daughter’s science project mentor. He is a dedicated and responsible instructor with very strong engineering and coding experience. He integrates complex concepts and methods into the project and explains them to my daughter with great patience. After each session, he provides timely summaries and clear homework instructions. During the week, if my daughter runs into difficulties and emails him, he always responds thoughtfully. He has already worked with her for over ten sessions, and I can truly see her growing confidence in coding and problem-solving. Although the project is not yet fully completed, I believe that with his guidance, she will be able to deliver a strong and meaningful final project.

A wonderful tutor!
My daughter Helen has been working with Henry over the past few months, and we truly appreciate his support! Henry played a truly important role in guiding her through her science fair project. He helped her structure the project in a clear and logical way, taught her essential technical skills in AI and coding, and consistently provided thoughtful and constructive feedback throughout the entire process. He has a calm and patient teaching style and gives students space to think independently and develop their own ideas. For students who are self-motivated and willing to take initiative, he can be a very effective mentor in helping them achieve strong outcomes. With his guidance, Helen deepened her understanding of the project and successfully developed a well-structured and functional result. She recently placed first in her category at the state science fair. Although there are multiple first-place winners in each category, it is still a great honor for her. Overall, we highly appreciate his knowledge and guidance and would recommend him to students looking for thoughtful and effective mentorship, even for open-ended science fair projects!

My daughter has completed three sessions with Henry, and we are very impressed with the experience so far. I am truly grateful for the support and guidance Henry has provided to my daughter in her journey learning coding and machine learning. Henry not only brings deep subject expertise—as a standout student from Yale and Stanford—but also demonstrates exceptional teaching and project-planning skills. Under his mentorship, my daughter has made meaningful progress both in mastering technical concepts and in applying them to a real-world science project. Henry is highly organized and always keeps the project moving forward with clear structure and timelines. We also appreciate his responsiveness—communication has been prompt and smooth throughout the process. It has been a wonderful experience working with Henry.
