Bio

Hello! My name is Noah, and I'm currently an undergraduate at Stanford University, majoring in Electrical Engineering. As a dedicated student myself, I've seen firsthand how much a great professor impacts a student's success. The best educators always made learning exciting, connecting topics to real-world applications. They were also patient and understanding, always empowering their students to overcome challenges. I bring this same philosophy to my tutoring.

I'm a dynamic and responsive teacher, constantly adapting to each student's needs during a lesson. My priority is ensuring all questions are answered and that students gain the confidence they need to excel. I guide students through step-by-step examples, then observe as they apply these methods to similar problems independently. My approach is always flexible to individual learning styles.

I have extensive experience as an after-school mathematics tutor for K-12 students, covering everything from basic math to advanced calculus. In this role, I often worked one-on-one, and sometimes with small groups of up to four students. Additionally, I served as a high school physics peer tutor, helping students master challenging material in courses ranging from Honors Physics to introductory undergraduate physics.

Effective parent-tutor communication is incredibly important to me. Please feel free to share any specific needs or struggles your student might have; I'm always happy to adjust my teaching to best support them. Don't hesitate to reach out with any additional questions!
