Chris B. has established himself as an expert in the fields of mechanical engineering, renewable energy, and project management over the years. A licensed Mechanical Engineer, Chris possesses a decade-long specialization in energy systems, mechanical design, and testing and analysis. Holding a BS in Mechanical Engineering, he progressed to achieve his MS in the same field from Stanford University. Currently, in pursuit of a Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford.

During his tenure as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University, Chris was deeply involved in the research of renewable energy technologies. His expertise in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science became particularly evident as he conducted extensive research on metal oxides as H2O2 reduction catalysts. This research not only showcased his solid understanding of intricate scientific principles but also his proficiency in advanced material testing techniques. Additionally, he has effectively utilized programming languages like Python and MATLAB to develop sophisticated software solutions.

Chris's teaching capacities don't just stem from his academic background. His work experiences, ranging from his tenure as Command Duty Officer at the Joint Interagency Task Force-South to his role as a Naval Nuclear Engineering Officer at USS Alaska SSBN 732, have equipped him with vast hands-on experiences. Here, he dealt with projects and responsibilities involving energy systems, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics, among others. Such roles have naturally involved mentorship, management, and overseeing of teams, rendering him adept at explaining complex concepts to both peers and subordinates. Specifically, in the military, as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, he led departments, managed watch teams, and carried out training and evaluations, providing him ample experience in dealing with diverse age groups and in varied settings.
