When I was in community college I expanded my tutoring experience by working at the college's tutoring center where I tutored both math and physics, assisting around 20 students weekly. Due to the hectic nature of the tutoring center, I had to learn to quickly adapt my teaching style depending on the student every 15-30 minutes. Later on, I also conducted group tutoring sessions for the physics class I TA'd for. I put together study guides, and spearheaded group workshops for these physics students.
Once I transferred to UCLA for my electrical engineering bachelor's degree, I started tutoring high school students online in math and physics. This proved more challenging but I learned to incorporate more online tools as well as utilize collaborative whiteboards to keep the students engaged.
