Hello, my name is Christian, and I currently withhold a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of La Verne with some graduate work. Mathematics and physics have always been a significant component of my academic life since I was young. During junior year, I joined the Honors Physics program and maintained the same teacher for AP Physics. I fell in love with the topic at this time. My teacher happened to be so energetic while bringing an alternative learning style to the classroom known as the Flipped Classroom or Socratic learning method. It inspired me to go to college and major in physics. La Verne felt just like home. The physics department was very friendly, and the professors were outstanding. Their learning approach was similar to my high school tenure. I began to gain professional experience teaching and assisting others at this time.
During college, I was fortunate enough to become a Teaching Assistant in the physics labs, induction into the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success, and departmental award in physics, and graduated with I believe to be above 3.0 GPA. The assistant position was an incredible opportunity because I learned how to teach and assist other students professionally. I would help the professor demonstrate the lab, clarify physics, calculus, and algebraic subjects. I was an assistant once more and a teaching associate during graduate work. I developed direct experience showing students how to perform a lab and explain overlooked concepts during lectures. I adopted the learning approach I learned the Socratic Method. So I will tend to publish my lecture notes on a subject before the student's meeting. Therefore, the student will be prepared and ready to answer questions on the topic of interest. I believe I am strongly qualified and certified to tutor physics, astronomy, calculus, algebra, and other mathematics.
