For the past five years, I have worked with high school juniors and seniors on every facet of the college admissions process. In addition to helping students prepare for the reading/writing sections of the SAT and ACT, I assist with identifying appropriate colleges, navigating the application, admissions and financial aid processes, and provide guidance that enables them to produce top-notch college essays.

I have extensive experience tutoring K-6 students in language arts, spelling, math and reading. This experience has been gained over the last five years as a private tutor in Sonoma County. I also have an extensive collection of materials to use with children of this age group.
Study Skills

Study Skills

My tutoring experience includes working with several students to improve their study, organizational and executive functioning skills. Last school year, I worked for the entirety of the year with a sixth grader who needed help organizing and planning for assignments in all subjects. By helping him organize his materials and his time, he was able to complete projects and assignments in a more timely manner as well as excel in them. This is an area that I would like to continue working in and feel absolutely confident in doing so.
