I enjoy teaching Japanese. I am a native Japanese, have college degrees both in Japan and the US with the secondary teaching credential earned in Japan. I have been teaching Japanese for 10 years. I am a friendly and patient yet goal-oriented tutor. Before my tutoring career, I worked at global corporations in Japan and the US for 15+ years liaising the business for both countries. Any levels of students are welcome, from absolute beginners to advanced levels, or learning the language as a hobby or a travel conversation visiting Japan.

JLPT Test prep class: I specialize in Test prep classes, the Japanese Language Proficiency Test also known as JLPT. It has become globally the most popular Japanese language test. The exam is used to measure employment screening, evaluation for promotions, pay raises, and qualification for a job. You can set your goal of Japanese study by taking the test. I provide sessions based on your n-level and plan for appropriate sessions. If you are interested in the JLPT prep class, please mention that in your message. Early starters are usually more successful on the test.
Japanese college applications and resume: I have experience in reviewing and proofreading resumes and for Japanese jobs as well as interview practice.

Excellent Japanese Instructor

Seiko makes learning Japanese feel very natural and interesting. I have fun in her lessons and she teaches in a way that helps me memorize complex vocabulary and sentence structure. It is comfortable to talk to Seiko in Japanese as I had difficulty to talk Japanese to Japanese people. Right now, speaking in Japanese is more important than speaking perfect Japanese.
