I first started using Java over 20 years ago. As a software engineer, I've used Java for internal enterprise applications and consumer backend applications. I first started using React in 2013, when I was a senior software engineer at Netflix working on observability tooling. Before React, I worked with JQuery and EmberJS, two other Javascript frameworks.
When I was a graduate student at MIT, I was a teaching assistant for an undergraduate class in computer system engineering, and I helped students with their homework assignments. As a professional software engineer and manager, I've mentored junior engineers. As a tutor here at Wyzant, I'm hoping to help students and software engineers with any coding projects or computer science topics, including AP Computer Science.
