As a Computer Science graduate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, I bring both technical expertise and a passion for teaching to my tutoring sessions. During my undergraduate studies, I focused on natural language processing, machine learning, and scalable systems while also developing a strong foundation in coding and problem-solving with Data Structures and Algorithms. Beyond academics, I have years of hands-on experience in software development and building innovative applications using technologies like Python, Java, GPT-4, and more.

My teaching journey began through volunteer work with the Sunday Friends Foundation, where I introduced children aged 8-12 to computers and digital tools. I taught them essential skills like navigating operating systems, creating projects in Scratch, and managing data in Microsoft Excel. This rewarding experience taught me how to make technical concepts accessible and engaging for young learners. Additionally, I’ve provided one-on-one and small group tutoring in programming, adapting my methods to suit each student’s unique learning style. Whether it's breaking down complex coding concepts or guiding students through their first lines of code, I focus on fostering confidence and curiosity in my students.

I focus on creating a practical and engaging learning environment where students can ask questions and work through challenges confidently. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, using real-world examples to build problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of core concepts. My goal is to help students gain the technical skills they need while fostering a genuine interest in technology.
