Hi! My name is Nargiza. I am originally from Kazakhstan, one of the beautiful countries from Central Asia. Three years ago I moved to the United States with my family. We live in Santa Monica near the ocean. I like reading books and I love psychology. My teaching career started about 6 years ago. Currently, I teach online English as a second language and Russian as a foreign language. I love teaching children and teens. I have Bachelor degree and TESOL certificate for online English teaching. I am also about to gain a Certificate for Russian as a foreign language from Moscow State University. To make my lessons interesting I use a lot of additional materials. We can sing, dance, create stories and many other interesting activities are used during my lessons especially with children.

I love teaching children and teens. I believe it is important to start to learn any language as earlier as possible. Russian can be fun. Using songs, games, presentations, cards, toys, posters and many other additional materials makes Russian grammar interesting and easy to learn. Russian fairy tales reveal cultural Russian heritage to my students and make them love Russian language and culture with all their hearts. We learn Russian poems. Leaning poems wide vocabulary that makes interaction more interesting and easier. One of the difficult theme in Russian grammar is Russian cases. Russian word can have many forms, depending on a situation we use. For example: стол, на столе, под столом. Some interesting facts: Russian is the 6th most naively spoken language in the world and is spoken by 260 million people worldwide. My teaching of Russian has started more then 12 years ago to preschoolers in the preschool center "Baby Academy". In the United States I have started to teach older children and teens using multiple methods of learning through play, association and games. I widely use songs that help easily remember new vocabulary and apply it in a real life. I have Certificate for Russian as a foreign language for children from Moscow State University. My love to psychology and knowledge in this sphere help me to find an individual approach to each of my students.

Such a wonderful teacher

Nargiza is just truly amazing with children. Most of all she is patient. I am not always able to work on coursework with my child but she takes it all in stride and is very patient during lessons. She is so wonderful and makes it fun as well. One of her absolute strengths is she understands children and knows when it's time to engage them differently to make the lesson successful.
