I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I graduated cum laude. I also earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Anatomy from Tulane University School of Medicine, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. During my time at Tulane, I received the Outstanding Performance Award for my work as a teaching assistant, where I supported medical students in mastering complex anatomical concepts.
My teaching experience spans a wide range of academic levels, from elementary school students to medical students. Over the past five years, I have worked with younger learners through BookNook, providing one-on-one instruction in math and English, particularly supporting students who need additional time, confidence-building, or language support. I have also taught in both small group and one-on-one settings, adapting my approach to meet each student's learning needs.
At the graduate and medical level, I have extensive experience teaching anatomy through cadaver-based instruction, virtual sessions, and structured review lessons. I have led sessions covering multiple body systems and have integrated histology and clinically relevant pathology to help students understand how structure relates to function. In addition, I have developed case-based learning materials to help medical students apply anatomical knowledge in a practical, exam-focused way.
My teaching style is highly visual, structured, and interactive. I use diagrams, step-by-step explanations, and guided practice to help students build true understanding rather than rely on memorization. I tailor each session to the student’s course materials, including lecture slides and practice exams, so our work together directly supports their academic goals.
I have experience working with students ranging from age 5 through adult learners, and I am comfortable teaching in both foundational subjects and advanced science courses. I have also been accepted to Tulane University School of Medicine class of 2030.
