My educational background and hands-on teaching experience have given me a strong foundation in both content knowledge and instructional skills. I hold a solid academic record through my college coursework, where I focused heavily on communication, writing, and analytical thinking. These are the skills I now bring directly into my tutoring sessions. My time working as an Instructional Media Specialist also strengthened my understanding of how students learn, how to break down complex ideas, and how to use different tools to support a variety of learning styles.

I have several years of teaching and tutoring experience across different contexts, including one-on-one support, small group instruction, and classroom aligned learning. I’ve taught and mentored students ranging from elementary school through college, adapting my approach based on age, skill level, and goals. Whether I’m helping a younger student grasp foundational reading skills or supporting an older learner through more advanced coursework, I bring consistency, clear communication, and genuine encouragement. These experiences, combined with my commitment to helping students grow, make me confident in my ability to tutor effectively in the subjects I offer.
