Hi there, I'm Jenny!
I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with double Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Cinematic Arts.
As the oldest of four, I've spent my life teaching my siblings – I truly feel that helping kids is part of who I am. I grew up in the LA area, so I am familiar with nearby schools and the unique trials and tribulations students face here. In fact, I even studied with a few tutors myself! I know what it feels like to be a LA kid and I know how effective tutoring feels. I am also a volunteer at a children's occupational clinic where I work in tandem with occupational therapists assisting kids (typically ages 4-10) with social, cognitive, and motor disabilities.
I am available to tutor elementary school students in all subjects and middle school students in English and History. Additionally, I am well-versed in helping kids strengthen their general study and time management skills.
I believe the foundation to effective tutoring begins with a genuine, personal connection between student and tutor. My goal is to have fun and get the work done.
