Hi, I’m Anna. I am from Philadelphia and have been working in education since 2021. I started off doing ABA in-home and at school, then transitioned to tutoring.
I have worked in “Restorative Education” for Daniel Franklin’s homeschool company in Brentwood, and for the past two school years I have been tutoring small groups in ELA and Math at West Hollywood Elementary, both in-class and after school. I have two years of experience working in Kindergarten classes at West Hollywood, and one year of experience in a first grade classroom. While there, I was a Lead Tutor and co-managed a team of eleven tutors.
Having an ABA background and having worked with neurodiverse learners at West Hollywood, I am skilled at tutoring children who have special needs or learning differences.
My approach to helping children is intuitive and adaptive. I use a tailored approach as every child has different motivations, anxieties, and preferences, and learns best in different environments. I am process-oriented, believing that if students can be present and engaged with the material, the results will take care of themselves.
I will be starting the Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential program at Cal State Northridge this Fall, which will allow me to teach Elementary School. My expected graduation date is February of 2027.
