With everyone scoring in the same range, with excellent extracurriculars, it's nearly impossible for individual students to stand out. That's where Inna came in. We were referred to Inna by another family, whose child is now a freshman at Stanford. Her approach is extremely creative and strategic. Each week, while our son worked on applications, she treated him as if she had a personal stake in his outcome. She showed him what admissions officers were really looking for in each essay prompt and in every part of the applications, even the smallest parts of the Common Application that our son would have overlooked. As the process went on, our son became more confident in his essay drafts and answers because Inna had taught him how to tell his story and get his message across so they wouldn't forget him. She brings value even between sessions, giving pointers and sharing information. We've already referred other friends to Inna, and we'll be strongly recommending her to everyone who needs a college counselor and the highest level of coaching on essays.

Excellent Essay Counselor
Inna was an excellent essay counselor for my son during the college application process. She helped him with prompts for several highly selective colleges and was incredibly patient and attentive in understanding his strengths, interests, and voice. Inna is very thorough and thoughtful, offering detailed guidance that helped my son express himself authentically and clearly. We found her support invaluable and would highly recommend her to families navigating competitive college admissions.

I cannot recommend Inna highly enough. She helped our son with college admission strategy and reviewing The Letter of Continued Interest. We needed help last minute and she was incredibly kind and accommodating. Her expertise shines through - she came up with brilliant strategies which we did not even think of! Inna was incredibly productive and our son loved working with her. My only regret- wish we had found her sooner. We are deeply grateful for her guidance and would absolutely recommend her to any family navigating the admissions essay process.

Inna helped my son dig deep to find his best anecdotes and frame them in a creative, memorable way. She's extremely efficient, so they were able to brainstorm, outline, and strategize in just one meeting! She even identified a fantastic opening line for his personal statement halfway through the session. She's amazing - Highly recommend.

We found Inna's tutorials on TikTok when my daughter was applying to the competitive merit scholarships for college. Inna's guidance was incredible! The multiple essays she helped my daughter write for full-tuition scholarships were highly creative, powerful, and applicable to many of my daughter's college essay prompts. She ended up with acceptances to all of her #1 college choices along with a huge scholarship which helped our family pay for her education. My daughter met with Inna a dozen times before Inna joined Wyzant recently, and I came here to write this review so people know how amazing Inna is. She was able to pull out the best stories and memories and teach my daughter to shape them in a way that's very touching and memorable. I can't say enough good things about Inna as a teacher, writer, editor, and college advisor.

Inna Got Me Into My Dream School
It turns out that a rejection letter from a college doesn't have to be the end of the story. Inna told me about the appeal process, which my high school counselor either didn't know about or didn't mention. Inna walked me through every step of writing an amazing appeal, helping me to revise and highlight the most important points. She's truly an expert at not only writing essays that admissions readers will notice, but she has special insight into the entire admissions process. Four weeks later, my appeal was successful and I got that acceptance letter to my top-choice college, one with a highly selective rate of acceptance. I'm grateful to her forever. I thought it was over, but Inna changed my life.
