I am an undergraduate Chemistry major at Pitzer College in southern California. I have loved my undergraduate education. I have a strong math and chemistry background, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to balance multiple academic and extracurricular responsibilities. The skills I have developed as an undergrad make me an effective voting member of my college’s student senate where my committee manages a $58,636 event fund. I am a member of the varsity Swim and Dive team, a 20 hour per week commitment. I balance these commitments with a rigorous academic schedule. I have taken multivariable calculus, organic chemistry, and am enrolled in an advanced majors lab and an advanced NMR elective course. I have demonstrated a propensity to go above and beyond in my academic and extracurricular pursuits and I believe I would bring a fantastic work ethic to your tutoring.
This all goes to say that I believe I am prepare to help you with anything math or science related. More than that though, due to the writing intensive nature of my institution I also believe that I would be able to help with writing skills and essay proofreading. I am a well rounded student and would love to help you achieve your academic goals like I've been able to achieve mine.

I have finished coursework up through multivariable calculus, use math on a regular basis in my other fields of study, namely chemistry.

Majoring in Chemistry, I have taken advanced coursework within my major including a majors specific intensive lab, a course on NMR theory and practices, and have a general passion for the field. I have also taken multiple biology courses throughout high school and college.
