I am a graduate student in Statistics at San Jose State University, and am currently an adjunct math instructor at Cabrillo College.
I have extensive experience tutoring math ranging from from high school pre-algebra, all the way through junior college level differential equations; as well as experience tutoring economics, computer science, and physics. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have a bachelor's degree in math, and while acquiring it I took both lower and upper division Differential Equations classes. Add that to the fact that I've been tutoring at Cabrillo Community College, in their Math Learning Center, which involves tutoring Differential Equations.
I grew up using computers for a variety of tasks, and have experience showing others how to use them as well.
I learned Java at Cabrillo College in 2009. I followed it up by using it to learn Data Structures and Algorithms. I have used Java for a variety of projects, including making Graphic Interfaces and simple games.
I tutor linear algebra on a regular basis at my day job. I also have a BA in mathematics, and have taken linear algebra as well as advanced linear algebra.
I have tutored physics for AP students at a variety of Santa Cruz high schools, and a few physics students at Cabrillo College and UCSC
