About Nathaniel

Bio

Since 2004 I have been tutoring students in the Santa Cruz area in Math, Physics, and Computer Science. I hold a firm belief that all students can succeed in any subject that they put their minds to, and focus on relieving the stress that is inherent in Math.

I hold a MS in Statistics from SJSU, and a BA in Mathematics from UCSC. Currently, I am the Director of the Math Learning Center at Cabrillo College where I am the content expert, administrator and tutor.

I have been tutoring Calculus since 2004, both single and multivariable. I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, and have taught Calculus at the college level multiple semesters.
Differential Equations

Differential Equations

I have a bachelor's degree in math, and while acquiring it I took both lower and upper division Differential Equations classes. Add that to the fact that I've been tutoring at Cabrillo Community College, in their Math Learning Center, which involves tutoring Differential Equations.

I learned Java at Cabrillo College in 2009. I followed it up by using it to learn Data Structures and Algorithms. I have used Java for a variety of projects, including making Graphic Interfaces and simple games.

I tutor linear algebra on a regular basis at my day job. I also have a BA in mathematics, and have taken linear algebra as well as advanced linear algebra.

I have tutored physics for AP students at a variety of Santa Cruz high schools, and a few physics students at Cabrillo College and UCSC

I have taught precalculus at the college level, and tutored it for many years

I hold a MS degree in Statistics, and have been tutoring Statistics since 2004. I tutor all introductory statistics courses, and can also tutor probability theory, theoretical statistics, and many data science topics utilizing R and Python.
