Hello! My name is Tully, and I'm a third-year Computer Science major at UC Santa Cruz, minoring in STEM Education. I've spent the past two years tutoring college students in Python and have taught math to middle and high schoolers. I have earned my College Reading and Learning Association Level 1 certificate and am currently working towards Level 2.
Through my STEM education minor, I have formal training in how students learn best and have spent time in local middle and high school classrooms, which taught me how to adapt my explanations to different ages, confidence levels, and learning styles.
In my tutoring sessions, I focus on helping you build a conceptual understanding of WHY the code does what it does and help you learn how to think like a programmer so you can confidently and independently approach your own programs and problems.
I tutor students in middle school through college in Python.
Whether you're just starting out or tackling more advanced concepts, I can meet you where you are.
If you have questions or would like to book a session, please reach out. I look forward to working with you!
