I hold a Master of Music degree in Music Composition and have over thirteen years of experience teaching music technology, music composition for media, and music production utilizing MIDI orchestration in Pro Tools and Logic at Full Sail University. My background combines advanced academic training with professional experience as a composer, audio engineer, and software developer. My compositions have been featured in PBS documentaries, commercial productions, and scores for independent films. As an educator, I have taught students from diverse backgrounds, both in-person and online, on how to create compelling musical works for film, television, and interactive media using industry-standard tools and creative techniques.

My teaching approach is highly adaptable, focusing on each student’s goals while building strong foundations in music theory, storytelling through music, and technical proficiency in digital audio workstations. I incorporate practical, project-based learning, where students work on real-world composition and production scenarios, developing both their creative voice and their technical fluency. I also integrate professional workflows, including MIDI orchestration, mixing, mastering, and the use of sample libraries, so that students leave each session with skills they can apply immediately.

I have worked with students of all ages, from high school through graduate-level learners, in one-on-one lessons, group workshops, and classroom settings.
