Hi, I'm Rikuu!, I'm currently a senior student at University of California, Santa Cruz at the Baskin School of Engineering studying electrical engineering. I'm able to provide tutoring math up through Linear Algebra/Differential Equations (Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus and more!). I have tutored extensively in both subject areas with which I am familiar and those with which I am relatively unfamiliar, and can assist students in understanding and writing papers. I'm also able to provide test-taking advice and simulation, as well as assist in organizing papers and developing effective study habits. In college, I worked for the school tutoring students and as a teaching assistant for a technical writing course.
I love tutoring students and work very hard to meet each student where he/she is, and will continue to explain a concept in as many ways as possible until the student has a firm grasp of it and feels good about his/her knowledge of it. I am extremely well aware of the differences in learning styles among students, and as such work very hard to adapt my tutoring style to each particular student. It is very important to me that students develop a sense of confidence in their own abilities, and I try to promote one whenever I can.
