My professional writing experience includes corporate clients, and I directed editorial services at both ArtCenter and CalArts, each for 14 years. I am an experienced interviewer and profiler of artists and their work, as well as of cultural events, books, and films. I have taught philosophy at the high school level and conceptual illustration to college students.
My passion for words and images, and how they amplify each other; patience; concern for students that really want to learn. I believe in life-long learning. Intellectual curiosity keeps life endlessly interesting. Love of reading and visual imagery have transformed my life, and it is both satisfying and gratifying to share and engender that love with students.
