Originally from Southern California, Ms. Patel. has always enjoyed teaching and inspiring high school students. From a young age, she began tutoring in various subjects and loved the idea of having a part in helping kids grow into individuals and guiding them through ups and downs.

Continuing in her education, Ms. Patel. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at University of California, Riverside. Deciding to pursue her passions even further, she spent some time in Boston, Massachusetts and earned a Masters in Teaching Science Education at Boston University where she had a chance to collaborate and experience Massachusetts High School coursework and rigor.

Knowing her teaching career would eventually lead her back to California, Ms. Patel. accepted her first teaching job where she taught Biology and the Living Earth to 9th and 10th grade students, AP Biology, Anatomy and Physiology. She has found a talented and supportive science team at her school site and plans to continue making lifelong relationships with her students and colleagues. Ms. Patel's passion for Biology continues to grow with the many students she has had the pleasure of knowing. Her students often say that she always has a smile on her face and creates a fun and engaging environment for students to ask questions and explore their curiosities in science.

I have 5 years of experience teaching Biology in a high school setting. I have also tutored incoming 9th graders and prepared them to enter their high school science course. Most of my tutoring will align with major biology topics that will be taught in their biology course at school. I am also an AP biology and Physiology teacher.

I am available any day of the week after school hours between 4pm-7pm.
