I am a credentialed teacher teaching Chemistry in the Bay Area. I graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences and Human Development. Advanced coursework completed in chemistry/organic chemistry, calculus and human development.

I worked for several tutoring companies in the Algebra department (Academic Advantage, Club Z). I have tutored privately in the last three years in Algebra I/II. I have passed the CBEST teaching test which focuses heavily on algebra.

I coached and captained intramural teams at UC Davis in 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 formats. I have held private basketball lessons in my community ranging from beginning to competitive level. I have drills for one player or multiple players involving dribbling, passing and shooting. For my advanced players, I place emphasis on footwork; changing pace/direction, stopping on a dime, cutting, etc.

I passed my CBEST test to get into my teaching credential program in one try. It's filled with general math and verbal/reading problems that I am strong in. I will teach you test taking strategies for this test and how to problem solve your way through the questions.
