I have always been a teacher at heart, and working with students has been a consistent part of my life. My earliest experience began as a Sunday school teacher’s aide, where I supported classroom instruction, helped maintain student engagement, and gradually developed and delivered my own lessons. This role introduced me to adapting explanations to different learning styles while fostering a focused and encouraging learning environment.

During college, I taught swim lessons to students of various ages, emphasizing proper technique, skill development, and confidence-building. I later worked as both a teacher’s aide and lead instructor at a summer camp, where I taught middle and high school students introductory programming using Scratch, ALICE, and Python. In addition to classroom instruction, I supported the daily structure of the program by organizing break activities, supervising transitions, walking students to lunch, and ensuring students were safely checked in and out by registered guardians. These responsibilities strengthened my ability to balance instruction with student supervision, organization, and attentiveness.

My experience continued at an English camp in the Czech Republic, where I taught high school students in an immersive educational setting. There, I developed lesson plans, guided classroom activities, and organized structured breaks that supported both learning and engagement. Across these roles, I have worked with students of different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels, and I strive to create a patient, supportive, and approachable learning atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
