I'm Sebastian, a UC Berkeley graduate with experience tutoring physics and calculus. At Berkeley, I studied physics and calculus as well as linear algebra, differential equations, and physical chemistry. However, I specialize in tutoring high school/ AP/ college level physics (motion or electricity/ magnetism), and high school/ college level calculus.

My approach is individualized tutoring based on each student's learning style and needs. I focus on building comfort, confidence, and understanding throughout the session and on thorough, approachable explanation of application problems. My goal is building a strong foundation of knowledge that will be relevant through the course and going into future courses in the series, since it's my experience that it is especially valuable to have a strong conceptual understanding early in physics and calculus as both subjects build on themselves significantly throughout the series. I can teach subjects or offer homework help or test prep as needed.

I have 2 years experience tutoring physics and calculus one on one with college students at UC Berkeley in individual sessions. The sessions included teaching subjects, and assisting with homework help and test prep. I've also tutored siblings in these subjects to help with homework and help them prepare for exams.
