I’m a software engineer at Apple with a degree in Computer Science and a passion for teaching.

Throughout my academic career, I developed strong expertise in mathematics, programming, and the sciences, which I now use to help students succeed across multiple subjects.

I’m also a native Bengali speaker fluent in English, enabling me to support students learning either language.

I have over three years of tutoring experience working with students from middle school through college in both one-on-one and small group settings.

I’ve helped high school students prepare for the SAT and ACT, focusing on math and English sections, and have seen significant score improvements through targeted practice and effective test strategies.

I’ve also tutored AP Computer Science students in Python and Java, guiding them through programming fundamentals and helping them build confidence in problem-solving.

Additionally, I’ve worked with students in calculus, chemistry, and physics, breaking down complex topics into understandable concepts.

My teaching approach is student-centered and adaptable. I take time to understand each student’s unique learning style and challenges, then tailor my explanations accordingly. Whether it’s solving calculus problems step-by-step, explaining chemical reactions through real-world examples, or improving essay writing skills, I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind concepts rather than just memorizing. I’m available for flexible sessions both in-person in the Bay Area and online.
