I am a Computer Science and Mathematics major at Santa Clara University, where I have maintained a 4.0 GPA. My academic foundation is built on advanced coursework in both subjects, supported by my achievement of a 1570 on the SAT. Having taken all levels of high school and college mathematics, I have developed strong problem-solving and analytical skills that allow me to break down difficult concepts into clear and approachable steps. This academic background gives me the confidence and ability to tutor effectively in areas ranging from foundational math to more advanced topics.

My tutoring experience began in high school, where I helped peers prepare for exams and supported younger students in developing confidence with core skills. In college, I continued to tutor both individually and in small groups, working with students of different ages and learning styles. I have taught everything from algebra and geometry to calculus, adjusting my approach depending on the student’s goals and needs. Whether helping a middle school student strengthen basic skills or guiding a college student through advanced coursework, I focus on making the material accessible and meaningful.

My teaching philosophy centers on building confidence and engagement. I encourage students to actively participate, ask questions, and practice applying concepts, rather than memorizing formulas. I also use real-world examples and problem-solving exercises to make abstract ideas easier to understand. Above all, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can build skills, gain confidence, and achieve academic success.
