I studied Systems, Electrical, and Computer engineering during both my undergraduate and graduate education. I initially found a passion for engineering through music production and audio engineering. From my efforts investigating the design of audio systems, I found a similar love for the engineering design and development process, specifically all things programming/computer related! Over the past few years, I have actively pursued a deeper knowledge of both hardware/software design, worked on many personal projects, and had a diverse collection of professional roles.
I believe in the empowerment of knowledge, and, currently, the knowledge of computer systems and software design is one of the most valuable and applicable for impacting the world. Through teaching, I aim to share my knowledge and, in turn, empower others to learn the skills required to teach themselves more, and build what they believe in.
I currently work in industry as an FPGA Engineer, and spend most of my time designing and developing digital systems for audio processing. This involves writing VHDL and synthesizing hardware for implementation in real products.
I have programming experience from my educational, personal, and industry work that includes low-level embedded system development, object oriented programming for audio processing and user interface development, ML model design, scripting tools for testing validation, etc.
I am confident in my mastery of the fundamental concepts of programming, design philosophy, computer operation, and finding paths toward further learning. For those who are in the early stages of their programming education, I definitely have the experience and knowledge to contribute meaningful help for solving problems and grasping difficult concepts.
Please feel free to send me a message if you want to learn more about me as a person outside of engineering, my experience as an engineer, or anything else!
