I am currently a 4th year medical student at Nova Southeastern University. I previously graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in biological sciences (honors) with an emphasis in immunology.

Extremely helpful MCAT tutoring
Sultan has been extremely helpful during the MCAT studying process. The very first meeting, he made me a schedule and has individualized each session to meet my needs. He has been especially helpful in the physical sciences, but very encouraging and positive about overall improvement. He is organized, understanding, and accommodating. I have seen improvement in my score and have increased test taking confidence after only about a handful of sessions. I highly recommend him!

Sultan has been helping me prepare for the organic chemistry section on the MCAT. Organic chemistry is not my strength, but he's been really focusing on teaching me the underlying fundamentals, and my understanding has greatly improved even after only a few sessions. Because I'm not just learning the reactions but learning why the reactions are occurring, my ability to answer any and all questions on the subject has tremendously increased, regardless of any curveballs the MCAT might decide to throw at me! He's very prepared for each lesson (has great study materials available), always punctual, and responds quickly to emails. I highly recommend him!

Great Tutor
Sultan is an awesome tutor, he really helps you understand the material rather than memorize it. One of his best abilities is how he interrelates topics, so for instance, if you do not know the answer to a certain question, you can recall other related information in order to deduce the correct answer. Also, he is incredibly helpful when answering questions. For me, there was not a question he did not have an answer to. And on the off chance he did not have the answer, he would look it up immediately and explain it via email after the lesson. He provides great tricks for memorizing and deducing formulas from other easier to understand formulas. All in all, he is a fantastic tutor who really helped me understand the material rather than memorize it. I would recommend him to anyone.

Very helpful, even with such a short amount of time
I came to Sultan with about a month left before my MCAT. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about all the subjects required. I spent the month doing lots of practice questions, and he helped explain questions and content that I struggled with in a way that it connected to other concepts as well. I feel like this approach helps build an understanding of a topic rather than just memorizing it. I live on the East Coast and go by EST and scheduling was never an issue. I highly recommend his services. He really wants you to understand the concepts so that you are able to apply them better, and in turn, improve your MCAT test taking skills.

Sultan is a great tutor! He is very prepared and organized with great software that allows for tutor session notes to accessible online. From only 2 sessions before my 3rd chemistry midterm I had a 27% grade increase! I went from 60% to 87%!

Sultan has been tutoring my son in high school chemistry for the past couple of months and they've been moving through the material fairly quickly, making the sessions with Sultan very cost-effective. He helps you understand the subject by teaching you the concepts behind a mechanism or formula instead of memorizing every little fact. He is very patient will skip around subjects based on what you want to learn or feel weak in. He is very patient and will help you understand a question or passage until you get it right.
