I was struggling with general college chemistry, and in turn, feeling the imposter syndrome, and losing confidence in my chemistry class until I found Neil. Neil is extremely patient, understanding, knowledgeable, and most importantly versatile. Tailoring my understanding to the way he teaches me, I am not overwhelmed or bombarded with too much information at once, and can focus on furthering my understanding one topic at a time. He taught me various ways I can approach a question, gave me examples, and walked me through the concepts behind the formulas and laws. Neil is one of the best tutors I have had in years, as he makes the session very efficient and is correct every single time. He has encouraged my efforts (even when they were wrong) and has guided me towards the right direction while still challenging me to begin problems. He uses my current understanding and approach to problems and shows me how to correctly do them the way I am comfortable with, rather than introducing a new method which usually confuses me. Overall, extremely knowledgeable and kind.

Neil has been helping me prepare for a final exam and It's like he is taking the class with me. He goes over every document, practice sheet, practice test, and sylabi that I send him so that he can better teach me the material I am learning. Even though the curriculum I am studying for is for another country Neil goes above and beyond to make sure that I am following along in class and getting prepared for the Final exam.

An expert in Calculus
Neil did a fabulous job teaching the Calculus concepts to my daughter. He goes into detail explaining how to derive the answers rather than just doing the problems at hand. Would recommend him.

After searching and trying out several Physics tutors, I scheduled with Neil and could not have been more pleased. He simplified complex material that I needed to understand for completing homework assignments and obtaining A's on all my quizzes so far this semester, while also remaining patient with me. Any question I had come up with during our session, he had a perfectly reasonable explanation that incorporated the relationship between different variables used in respective formulas (this allowed me to completing each problem correctly without making common mistakes). What my professor had failed to clarify in lecture, Neil clarified in session with ease and to the point. Highly recommend for anyone struggling with collegiate level Physics.
