Hello, I'm Bernardo, *Sí hablo Español*
I am a very passionate person when it comes to helping others and making a positive impact. I have gathered so much knowledge throughout my life from being involved in so many activities, teams, sports, school education, jobs and many more functions. I stay on my toes when it comes to being strategic and focused. I have a very positive approach. I take pride in all the work I do and am fully committed to my tasks. I have many skills and strategies to share and always seeking to learn more.
I have about 4 to 5 years added up of coaching/tutoring experience. I have coached and tutored at elementary schools, high schools and individually. I have coached and tutored at private and public schools. I have also helped individuals at a local Boys & Girls Clubs. I have worked with groups ranging from 7,8 to 15,16 players at a time. And of course I have worked with individuals directly.
I always like to offer a FREE consultation (15-20 mins) before we start our first tutoring session. This really helps both the student (or all parties involved) and I to get to know each other and to see the talent and skills he/she already has so we can build and improve from there (and make adjustments if needed). Another great aspect about this consultation is for me to understand how the student learns best. There are many different ways of learning as well as tutoring/teaching/coaching. I like to accurately present material, drills and examples in the best format that the student will understand the most.
I have played sports my whole life, and as many as I could (basketball, football, volleyball, baseball/men’s softball and many others that are not as popular...like billiards, poker, and chess). One thing I've learned by playing so many sports is that no matter the court, field, mat, table, board or setting you compete on, they all involve strategy. The IQ of any sport goes a very long way.
Quick basketball comment:
I have different perspective viewpoints from a coaching standpoint, refere
